2.5 Fuellox Mini BowserLink
The Fuellox mini bowser is a total package, with very limited installation required.
These systems come prewired, calibrated and ensure a quick and reliable commissioning of the Fuellox System.
While variates are available the installation steps are as follows.
Danger
Fuellox Systems are not designed for use with Gasoline.
2.5.1 MountingLink
The unit can be rear or base mounted. A pedestal is also available for mounting to a concrete pad.
For Base Mounting 4x Mx holes in 100mm x 100mm square pattern are required.
For Rear Mounting 4x Mx Holes in a 200mm W x 350mm H pattern are required.
Fixtures required are Mx Screws.
Be sure to use stainless steel screws, and where corrosion is a possibility suitable earthing is required. Also consider the use of a sacaficial anode.
See Fuellox Bowser data sheet here.
2.5.2 InletLink
Install a heavy duty 1" BSP Suction hose or spear. Its very important a suciton hose is specified, as other hoses may collapse under the suciton pressure of the pump.
Alternatively use a steel spear with 1" BSP thread.
A thread sealing compound is recommended. Be sure to follow the directions and allow the thread sealant to dry prior to any contact with Fuel. Loxeal 58-11 is available from most Bunnings Stores. See Here
Where a bowser system needs to install to a suction spear consider the use of a swivel fitting at the pump inlet. A typical fitting for this is available from Ryco Part Number S80-16-16
Install the swivel fitting to the inlet. Position the pump, and install the inlet using suitable thread sealant.
2.5.3 PowerLink
Your unit will be supplied with a 2m cable, unterminated.
An electrican needs to install this cable to a circuit and provide the following:
- IP68 enclosure
- Mains isolator, lockable
- RCD protection
- Earth Stake in not already available
Where needed a captured appliance inlet may be used, however carefully consider the electrical compliance requirements for your site.
Be sure to observe the dry time for thread sealants and check all connections (inside and out) prior to final commissioning and handover to the client.
2.5.4 Electrical ComplianceLink
Electrical compliance can only be achieved by installing the system to AS3000. Depending on your site zoning a dedicated supply and RCD may be require. Consult your electrician to determine your exact needs.
Warning
Be sure to consider trip and vehilce hazards with any electrical cable location.
2.5.5 CalibrationLink
Fuellox bowsers are supplied with a high performance meter. These meters are supplied from the factory with a calibration certificate, and those calibration values are applied to your mini bowser in the factory.
The bowser should only be calibrated by an experienced and licensed contractor.
2.5.6 ServiceLink
For installation, service and support this wiring guide is provided. Consult the Fuellox Help desk prior to any service work on the mini bowser.
